SIBAC Banking Software Factory

As part of SIBAC, The Banking Software Factory (BSF) provides its local partners with full application project collaborative development, lifecycle management and standards satisfaction. The BSF enhances the FinLogix suite of financial products by providing means for collaboration in real time for all departments and individuals involved in banking application management. This facilitates partners to localise SIBAC following strong quality procedures, and delivering product in a timely fashion without changing the core applications and in such a way that it ensures consistency.

The BSF provides support for software lifecycle tasks and the human organisation. It has been designed to facilitate satisfying the requirements of rigorous software certification standards such as ISO and the Capability Maturity Model (CMM). In the BSF, the use of an Abstraction Layer to model a single reference configuration has been enhanced by adding logic, agents and metadata for managing the Lifecycle Management functions, such as Version Control and Change Management (including Dependency checking), and for managing resources and monitoring workflow in real time. The BSF also provides linkages to QA testing and automatic documentation facilities.
