Janet Louise Yellen
U.S. economist, current U.S. Treasury Secretary, former Chairman of the Federal Reserve. The first female chairman of the Federal Reserve in 2014 has often been labeled "dovish" in her policy advocacy. During his four years in office from 2014 to 2018, Yellen's policy stance was often reflected in not worrying about high inflation, maintaining an accommodative monetary policy, and keeping interest rates low. He was nominated by President Biden at the end of 2020 and became U.S. Secretary of the Treasury on January 25, 2021.
Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey
It is a survey of the job market conducted monthly by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The survey, which covers over 20,000 enterprises to estimate the numbers of U.S. job vacancies, hires, and separations included in the monthly jobs report. Former Fed Chair Janet Yellen often uses data to observe the U.S. job market, with a focus on non-farm payrolls, voluntary departures, and hiring.
