I am anticipating positive news for CPI out of the US in tonight’s trading session.

This should theoretically increase the value of the US dollar.

Current estimates are for a recording of 0.4% the previous was 0.3%, so it is not a far stretch for inflation to climb marginally.

From a technical reasoning, I am short with a reversal pattern currently in price, giving more confidence to the position.

There is no news scheduled tonight for the Stirling, but there is news on industrial production out of Europe. Should figures remain subdued, it may boost the pound.
