If so, the modest response to the infrastructure bill in general, could be something of a momentary knee-jerk duration.

Unlike previous stimulus measures, there is little immediate economic impact. These are long lead time infrastructure projects. It is also a catch up measure, rather than a stretching out into the future quantum leap. US infrastructure spending has been stagnant since the 1960s.
