I think there is no doubt about the market collapsing. 

The fact that you get a call right only does one thing and that is pump up your ego. 

Making money though is another thing, the question is did you make money from making that call? And that is EXACTLY what trading is. EXECUTION not making market calls. EXECUTIONS.

Otherwise, good for you or anyone else for making a call. But if you make a call and bank on that call, now that is admirable you might have got lucky, you might be in the zone or you might have followed your strategy. Either way you make consistent calls and make consistent money then you can call yourself a trader. 

Doing it consistently and making money consistently is the true skill not making market calls. 

Now why short the DOW well really this because the market doesn't look like it wants to go up and not only that I THINK the players want to drive this price down.

I think we could potentially be using a real bear market, why I say that is if the market falls to pre-pandemic highs and does not really much for the next several years then we are in a serious bear market. 

But then again, that is an easy market call to make . Markets went up 3 times in a 2 year period of course it is going to need to snap back.
